采收期苹果二次冷却会消耗大量能量。荷兰阿纳姆—内梅亨大学(HAN)工程学学生Robin Beukers研究出一种方法,可以让冷却过程更快更有效。苹果每年成熟期仅一次,为做到周年供应,必须采用低温冷藏,在冷藏库中保持1℃左右,配合其他合适的环境条件。低温冷藏存在很大缺点:在采收期,要维持冷藏库的温度需消耗大量能量,这样种植者需要更多的设备才能解决能量问题。而紧连着冷藏库的是一个小型变压器建筑,该设备在一年中的大多数时候是不用的,在一定程度上来说是浪费。
Apple secondary cooling will consume a lot of energy harvesting. Robin Beukers, an engineering student at the University of Arnhem-Nijmegen, Netherlands, has developed a way to make the cooling process faster and more efficient. Apple mature only once a year, in order to achieve the annual supply, must be low-temperature refrigerated storage in the refrigerator to maintain about 1 ℃, with other suitable environmental conditions. Cryogenic refrigeration has the big disadvantage that it takes a lot of energy to maintain the temperature in the cold storage during the harvest so growers need more equipment to solve the energy problem. Immediately after the cold storage is a small transformer building, the device is not used most of the year, to a certain extent, wasted.
