从徐悲鸿竭力倡导吸收、引进西方古典绘画科学造型的观念和方法开始,素描造型加中国笔墨,这一改造中国画的模式逐渐形成。我们不能否定这一改造给中国画带来了新的繁荣,可是我们也要看到本民族文化的优良传统正在悄悄地流失。水墨大写意本是中国绘画独具一格的艺术形式,其特有的审美趣味在愈演愈烈的写实潮流中,已难觅其昔日风采。我们民族艺术的优良传统是崇尚天人合一、阳刚大气之美,注重主观情感、精神内涵的意象表达观念,这些都值得新一代的我们重新去认识和认真对待、把握。
