乡土史教育可分为两大部分,即作为社会教育组成部分的乡土史教育和作为学校历史教育组成部分的乡土史教育。为了讨论的方便,我们把前者称为广义的乡土史教育,把后者称为狭义的乡土史教育。它们都以乡土史作为自己的依据和内容;乡土史与地方史是两个有时可以相通而互有不同的概念。例如《华阳国志》,任何地区的任何人都可称之为地方史著作,但只有汉中、川、贵等地区或这些地区的人士可以称之为“我们的”乡土历史的作品。一些研究乡土史的著作,为了讲述的方便,往往对两者不加严格的区分。广义的乡土史教育面向
Local history education can be divided into two parts, namely, the education of local history as part of social education and the education of local history as part of school history education. For the convenience of discussion, we refer to the former as generalized native history education and the latter as narrowly defined native history education. Both of them take their native history as their own basis and content; local history and local history are two concepts that can sometimes be interlinked and different from each other. For example, “Huayang Guoshi” can be called any local history work by anyone in any region, but only Hanzhong, Sichuan, Guizhou and other places or people in these areas can call it “our” hometown history.
