在二次根式的学习中,有两个重要的性质:(1)(a~(1/2)~2=a(n≥0)(2)(a~2)~(1/2)=|a|=(?)这两个性质是本章的重点.准确把握二者的区别与联系是学好二次根式的关键,具体来讲主要表现在以下几方面:一、两个性质的意义不同性质(1)表明一个非负数的算术平方根的平方是它本身,而性质(2)则是一个实数的平方的算术平方根等于这个实数的绝对值.二、两个性质中字母a的取值范围不同性质(1)中的a≥0,而(2)中的a为全体实数.也是二者最根本的区别.
