五四运动时候,我是江南一个快要毕业的小学生。老师领着我们上街游行,每人手里拿一面小纸旗,上面写着革命口号。经过茶馆,就进去对茶客演讲。一位茶客把我抱起来站在茶桌上,使更多茶客能够看到矮小的我。这时候,前两年掀起的文学革命运动跟反侵略运动汇成一股洪流。民族觉醒意识变成一座火山,猛然爆发了出来。从1918年胡适发表《建设的文学革命论》和陈独秀发表《文学革命论》算起,到今年整整80年。
