贝拉发现于云南省玉龙县大具乡金江村,是从20世纪70年代栽植的油橄榄品种贝拉中选出的油橄榄新品种。果实椭圆形,平均单果重9.6 g;果面平整光滑,稍不对称,果顶圆;果核倒卵状长椭圆形,沟纹粗浅,果核比4∶1;果肉率80.59%,蛋白质含量6.00%,油含量20.05%,油酸含量74.80%,亚油酸含量7.20%,亚麻酸含量0.90%;在云南省丽江市,果实9月上旬成熟。2014年通过云南省林木品种审定委员会认定。
Beira was found in Jinjiang Village, Dacu Township, Yulong County, Yunnan Province, and is a new olive species selected from Bela, an olive cultivar cultivated in the 1970s.
