一、从历史说到现状 何:人道主义是个大话题,很重要。钱谷融当年在《论文学是“人学”》里把人道主义看作是贯通古今的东西,看作文学的永恒的主题。但我们现在一般所讲的人道主义,却主要来自西方,这与中国古代的人道主义不同。中国古代的人道主义可以称之为古典的人道主义。中国古典文学当中,从屈原开始,到唐代的杜甫、白居易,到元代的关汉卿、王实甫,清代的曹雪芹等,确实存在着人道主义的传统,这个传统一直是中国古典文学当中一个相当辉煌,相当有价值的部分。现代的人道主义,当然是渊源于西方的文艺复兴和启蒙运动,但在本质上却并非没有和中国古典人道主义相通之处。

This tradition has always been a very brilliant classical Chinese literature , A very valuable part. Modern humanitarianism, of course, is derived from the West’s Renaissance and Enlightenment, but in essence it is not without its connection with classical Chinese humanitarianism.
