1999年10月1日,伟大的中华人民共和国迎来了成立50周年的光辉日子,在首都天安门广场举行的50周年国庆盛典阅兵式上,中国人民解放军受阅部队以强大的阵容、雄伟的气势、精良的装备、高昂的士气,向世界展示了新中国成立后我军革命化、现代化、正规化建设的巨大成就,展示了我军威武之师、文明之师、胜利之师的崭新风貌。在这次规模空前的阅兵式中,最引人注目的是陆、海、空军及第二炮兵的25个地面重装备方阵、10个空中战机梯队,它们以排山倒海之势通过天安门前,接受了党和人民的检阅,展示了我军武器装备建设的最新成就。
On October 1, 1999, the great People’s Republic of China ushered in the glorious day of the 50th anniversary of establishment.
