1月31日下午,美军在太平洋上空进行了新一轮陆基中段导弹拦截试验,但由于负责捕捉靶弹轨道的海基X波段雷达出现异常,拦截弹错过目标,试验以失败告终。对部署于全球的美国导弹防御系统而言,置于海上的X波段雷达是它的核心组成部分。而从发展趋势看,包括捕捉目标和拦截目标在内的海基弹道导弹防御系统也正受到美国越来越高的重视。
On the afternoon of January 31, the U.S. military carried out a new round of ground-based missile interception tests over the Pacific Ocean. However, due to anomalies in the sea-based X-band radar in charge of capturing the target’s orbit, the interceptor missed the target and the experiment failed. X-Ray radars placed offshore are a central part of the global deployment of the U.S. missile defense system.
