The first national CO_2 gas shielded welding invitational tournament was held at Wuchang Vehicle Plant from September 17 to 25, 1989. Zou Ruilu, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Workers’ Technical Association, Ma Xueli, Vice Chairman of the Provincial General Trade Union, Zhang Chunzao, Deputy Director of the Provincial Machinery Industry Department, and the entire country Prof. Xu Biyu, leader of the CO_2 Gas Welding Welding Invitational Team and other leading comrades attended the conference and made a speech. More than 30 units from 14 provinces and cities across the country represent contestants from more than 20 industries, authors who participated in the selection of thesis, and conference staff and staff members.
