针对大学英语传统显性分级教学存在的问题,学者提出了隐性分级教学模式,之后一直存在着利弊之争。基于此,以中国矿业大学240名非英语专业本科生为研究对象,在大学英语教学中引入隐性分级教学,对其教学效果进行对比分析研究。为期一年的实验研究表明,隐性分级教学能避免传统分级教学的一些弊端,通过因材施教可以激发学生的英语学习兴趣,调动学习积极性,最终达到提高英语学习成绩的目的。
In view of the existing problems in the traditional explicit grading teaching of college English, scholars put forward the teaching model of recessive grading, and there has always been a dispute between pros and cons. Based on this, taking 240 undergraduates of non-English majors from China University of Mining and Technology as the research object, this paper introduces recessive graded teaching into college English teaching and conducts a comparative analysis of its teaching effects. The one-year experimental study shows that recessive graded teaching can avoid some drawbacks of traditional graded teaching. Through teaching students according to their aptitudes, they can stimulate students’ interest in English learning and arouse their enthusiasm for learning so as to finally achieve the goal of improving English learning achievement.
