多年来,各级建筑(土建)学会发扬智力集中、技术力量雄厚的优势,为村镇建设做了大量的工作。例如,与主管部门配合,举办了多次由下而上逐级评选的村镇规划、设计竞赛,各地已按得奖方案建设了很多新居;举办了多次村镇建设学术讨论会;把村镇建设作为普及工作的重点,创办了《建筑知识》,为基层服务,为村镇建设服务,并根据广大读者的要求,进而创办了城乡建设刊授大学。《城镇建设》中专班招收了1.5万名函授生,有17个省建立了分校,共192个刊授站,组成了教育网。各地大量开办村镇规划、建筑施工、概算预算、测量等培训班,有的还举办了县长、乡镇长学习班,为基层培养了大批人才。河南、江苏、天津、浙江、福建等省市都编印了不少科普读物。这些工作受到群众的欢迎和好评。 Over the years, the architectural (civil) societies at all levels have developed the advantages of concentrated intelligence and strong technical force, and have done a lot of work for the construction of villages and towns.
