一、祭祀的主题在《诗经》中具有史诗性质的作品不少,其中《商颂·烈祖》是史诗性质较为突出的一篇。《毛诗正义》卷二十《烈祖》及诸多旧本均将《烈祖》定为一章。《烈祖》二十二句,除第十六句为五言句之外,其余均为四言句,全诗一共八十九字,录如下:嗟嗟烈祖,有秩斯祜。申锡无疆,及尔斯所。既载清酤,赉我思成。亦有和羹,既戒既平。鬷假无言,时靡有争。绥我眉寿,黄耉无疆。
