黄花菜,俗名金针菜,是百合科多年生宿根草本植物,萱草的花蕾。多生于山坡、草地及林缘。其根如群龙舞爪;其叶,狭长深绿;其花,未开前似杯,绽蕾时成嗽叭状,花形秀美,姿态独雅,两千多年前的《诗经》里就有赞美它的诗歌;宋代大诗人苏东坡也有“萱草虽微花,孤秀能自拔,亭亭乱叶中,一一芳心插”的吟咏。黄花菜具有独特的清香味,蓓蕾初开时可以鲜食但必须用沸水烫过,用它作辅料,可以制作成许多名菜佳肴,如
