立方氮化硼(CBN)——硬质合金复合刀具,是七十年代初斯发展起来的一种新型超硬刀具材料。它是由软的“白石墨”——六方氮化硼在1500~1700℃高温和5~6万大气压下转变合成为CBN单晶粉粒。经提纯处理后,将CBN单晶粉粒与WC—Co硬质合金基片一起组装,再经1700~1900℃高温和7~7.5万大气压的超高压烧结成CBN多晶体一硬质合金复合块。根据刀具结构的要求,把复合块作成整体式或焊接式刀片或刀具(附图)。
Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) - Cemented Carbide Compound Tool is a new type of superhard tool material developed in the early seventies. It is a soft “white graphite” - hexagonal boron nitride at 1500 ~ 1700 ℃ high temperature and 5-6 million atmospheric pressure synthesis of CBN single crystal particles. After purification, the CBN single crystal particles are assembled together with the WC-Co cemented carbide substrate, and then sintered into a CBN polycrystalline-cemented carbide composite block by ultrahigh pressure at a temperature of 1700-1900 DEG C and an atmospheric pressure of 7-75,000 . Depending on the structure of the tool, the composite block is made as a one-piece or welded insert or tool (photo).
