所谓专家系统是知识工程的应用系统,而知识工程是人工智能发展的新课题。国际上最初是由斯坦福大学的爱德华·弗根鲍姆教授在1977年的第五届国际人工智能会议上提出的。他说:“人工智能是把人们积极利用经验知识解决问题作为前提并与人工智能应用有关的一个研究领域”。通俗地讲,知识工程中最重要的专家系统是指把专家具有的技术秘密存储在计算机里,便于普通人利用。
The so-called expert system is the application system of knowledge engineering, and knowledge engineering is a new topic in the development of artificial intelligence. Internationally, it was first proposed by Professor Edward Fugenbaum of Stanford University at the Fifth International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in 1977. He said: “Artificial Intelligence is a research area that takes people's active use of empirical knowledge to solve problems and is related to the application of artificial intelligence.” To put it in a nutshell, the most important expert system in knowledge engineering is to store the technical secrets that experts have in a computer, making it easier for ordinary people to use.
