泡桐原产我国,为著名速生优质用材树种,大力发展泡桐,是工农业生产、国防建设及人民生活的需要.湖北西部是我国泡桐重要资沅区之一,种类甚多,为推动泡桐生产,我们开展大协作,以贫下中农为科研的主力军,大搞群众运动,于1976年4-5月对宜昌地区(除枝江县外)的8县1市54个公社235个大队的泡桐进行了调查,现将调查结果初报如下:
