全苏矿物原料科学研究所研究出一种非传统的、对生态环境无害的坚硬矿石的开采方法——钻孔水力开采方法。矿体用钻孔进行开拓,再用水枪就地将矿石破碎,矿石呈矿浆状态,提升到地表。对于远东地区矿物原料基地的发展,钻孔开采法的应用具有巨大的意义。该法可以从很深的地下开采出冲积和沉积类坚硬的有色金属、稀有金属和建筑材料矿石,还可以用于近海大陆架开采坚硬的深埋砂矿床。
