平顶山矿务局始建于1955年,现有生产矿井13对,设计年生产能力1606万吨。1989年,原煤产量居全国第二位,企业在全国500家最大规模工业企业中列第57位。实行承包经营以来,企业管理水平进一步提高,各项工作兴旺发展。1989年晋升为国家二级企业,建成质量标准化矿务局,1990年获全国“五一劳动奖状”和全国煤炭工业优秀企业称号。 1985年,我局对国家实行了投入产出六年总承包。五年来,我们认真贯彻党的十一届三中全会以来的路线、方针、政策,不断推进治理整顿和深化改革,充分依靠全局广大职工,积极落实总承包的各项政策,克服前进中的困难,增强了企业的生机与活力,使企业出现了持续、稳定发展的好局面。
