Born in Ireland, Brian Boyd graduated with a degree in computer design and technology from the Goldsmiths College, University of London. Upon graduation, Boyd compiled two math puzzle books, Mathemagician’s Apprentice and Treasure Island’s Treasure (for the 7 to 11 year old), based on his interests and professional skills The Treasure of Fraction Island), along with the design of the corresponding computer games. Boyd then came to Thailand to start an English teacher in Bangkok. His students included children, young learners and adults. He is good at observation
