一引言 1965年,RCA公司的Becke成功地制造了第一个微波场效应晶体管,使场效应晶体管开始进入微波领域。但是,在其后一段很长的时间进展较为缓慢。随着半导体材料和工艺技术的进步,从1974年开始又有了新的突破。最近几年进展迅速,现在已从实验室阶段走向实用阶段。目前,各国半导体厂家和研究部门纷纷成立微波场效应晶体管的研制机构开展研制工作。有关微波场效应晶体管及其应用的文章亦大量发表,似乎大有微波场效应晶体管热之趋势。
I. INTRODUCTION In 1965, RCA’s Becke successfully produced the first microwave field-effect transistor, bringing the field-effect transistor into the microwave field. However, progress was slow for a long time to come. With the progress of semiconductor materials and technology, there have been new breakthroughs since 1974. The rapid progress in recent years has now moved from the laboratory to the practical stage. At present, the semiconductor manufacturers and research departments in various countries have set up microwave field-effect transistor development agencies to carry out research and development work. Articles about microwave field-effect transistors and their applications are also published in large numbers, and it seems that there is a great tendency for microwave field-effect transistors to heat up.
