The construction of the National Grand Theater is one of the most significant art events in contemporary China. But this only provides us with a field, and the emergence of great dramatic works can give this field an immortal soul. The achievements of dramatic arts are mainly reflected in the works’ grasp of the existence of the soul and life of self, family, nation and nation. More than 100 years ago, Nietzsche saw with keen eye the importance of drama ethics (1) for drama and built and reflected on this issue. In fact, “Theater Ethics” is also a pending issue in Chinese drama for centuries, and has been in a state of being obscured and offset.
