语言是思维的工具,思维的完整单位不是孤立的概念、判断或推理,而是由它们综合组成的逻辑统一体。英语教学应该符合思维的这一特点,不但要重视词和句的教学,还要重视由多句构成的课文的教学。小学英语课文是词汇、句型、语法的综合体,是进行阅读和口语训练的基本材料,是模仿的典范,是活用的依据。由于课文的题材、体裁、内容、结构的不同,课文教学的方法也相应有所不同。另外,不同年级的课文教学在方法上也有一定的差别。针对种种不同,教师可以运用阅读法来进行小学英语课文教学。
Language is the tool of thinking. The complete units of thinking are not isolated concepts, judgments or reasoning, but rather the logical unity formed by them.
