南方稻区水稻良种联合区域试验,通过绝大部分省区试点鉴定,表现综合平均产量较高的水稻品种有四个:1.“苏籼一号”:是江苏省苏州地区农科所用“广陆矮四号”与“二九青”杂交育成的早籼早熟品种。经连续两年南方区试结果,表现高产、耐肥、抗倒、适应性较广,适宜中高肥水平地区种植。全生育期107.6—107.86天。1981年8个试点平均亩产805.9斤,比对照种“二九青”增1.22％;1982年7个试点平均亩产764.9斤,比“二九青”增产2.9％。该品种株型紧凑,株高仅62厘米左右,叶片颜色较深,剑叶短挺,田间通风透光性较好,每穗总粒数64.9—67.39粒,结实率78％左右,千粒重23克,出糙率平均为78.6％,综合性状较好。
