The Triongx Sinensis Wieg-mann Extractor (TSWE) is a biologically active substance extracted from the armor and has the functions of resisting radiation damage and increasing the white blood cells of the irradiated mouse. In this paper, the effects of extracts of Radix Astragali on spleen weight, spleen index, and spleen cell number of irradiated mice were studied.
