我国自1891年在台湾省建成第一条铁路隧道以来,到1991年为止的100年中,已建成了总长为2278公里的4878座铁路隧道,在世界上已成为铁路隧道最多的国家。建国以后,随着铁路建设向内地和山区发展以及科学技术的进步,长隧道大量增加,使得历年所保持的我国铁路隧道的长度记录,屡被打破。仅就单线隧道而言,一百年来,先后被8座隧道所打破。现将这些隧道的简况介绍如下。 狮球岭隧道 全长261.4米,位于台湾省基隆至新竹的窄轨铁路上,轨距为1067毫米,1891年建成, Since China established the first railway tunnel in Taiwan Province in 1891, 4878 railway tunnels with a total length of 2,278 km have been completed in the 100 years up to 1991 and the world has become the country with the most railway tunnels. For single-lane tunnels alone, it has been broken by eight tunnels for a hundred years. The brief introduction of these tunnels is as follows. The Lion Rock Tunnel is 261.4 meters long and is located on a narrow-gauge railway between Keelung and Hsinchu in Taiwan. Its gauge is 1,067 millimeters and was completed in 1891.
