当前,全国正在进行大学院系调整,中国画被置于三级学科绘画之下,不能再独立建系,许多院校将它和油 画、版画等西画学科合并成绘画系。近年来国画毕业生就业形势严峻,生源本已普遍不足,如此调整,选修者更少,国画学科生存可虞,遑论发展?国画是中国文化的结晶,在中国因积弱而屈辱的近代,不被重视还情有可原,在新世纪国力日盛,文化自信心开始增强之际,反倒置于尴尬境地,实在匪夷所思。 本来,中西绘画各成体系,差别巨大,把国画教学放在西式美术学府里,就已不妥,应该独立建校。国画原有自己的教学
