Since the 1980s, the editorial community has conducted useful discussions on the role and value of editors from a variety of perspectives. However, what role can and should be played by editors in the academic debate? Under what conditions can we play an active role? People still lack a clear understanding of such issues. Some editors are concerned about academic disputes. They worry that this may cause problems and may affect their quality rather than organize themselves.
