In 2007, Pingnan Power Company transferred to Guangxi Power Grid Company as a whole. In 2011, it was upgraded to a deputy department of Guangxi Power Grid Company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangxi Power Grid Corporation. Pingnan Power Supply Company has 9 functional departments and 8 second floor agencies. There are 2 220kV substations, 6 110kV substations and 16 35kV substations in the area, which is responsible for the power grids of 21 townships in Pingnan County Operation, maintenance and power supply services.
