Nanostructured Fe8lSi9B6Nb3Cu1 alloy powders were synthesized by pure alloying and mechanical alloying to study the structure and magnetic properties of the products after different time (2 ~ 70h). X-ray diffraction, neutron diffraction and Mossbauer measurements show that the disordered solid solution gradually forms with the milling time prolongation and the average particle size is in the nanometer range.
