武钢第二炼钢厂冶炼取向硅钢采用日本进口刚玉质弥散型供气砖底吹,寿命约6次;其它钢种采用西德引进的上插式喷枪顶吹,寿命约4次,均不能适应炼钢发展的需要。为改善钢包底吹氩的技术经济指标,1986年以来,开始了不同材质不同结构的钢包底吹氩供气砖的试验研究。其中,刚玉质定向多孔型供气砖在第二炼钢厂试验,供气砖孔径≤1mm,孔数140个,Al_2O_3≥90%,体积密度>2.5g/mm~3,气孔率≤25%,荷重软化温度≥1430℃;底吹氩工作压力0.2~0.4MPa;
