美国中小学主要在社会科中进行法治教育。研究发现,社会科在低年段采取融合课程编制,中年段采取相关课程编制,到高中才由综合课程编制转为学科课程编制。纽曼的社会参与计划以及麦克费尔的生命线计划表明,即使在学科课程主导的框架中,也可以设计跨科课程,通过多门独立学科的相互协作,进行民主法治等专题教育。
Primary and secondary schools in the United States conduct education in the rule of law mainly in the social sciences. The study found that the social sciences in the low section to take the integration of curriculum preparation, the middle ages to take the relevant curriculum preparation, to high school was integrated curriculum preparation into subject curriculum.
