美国马里兰州圣保罗学校是杭州外国语学校的姐妹学校,包括圣保罗女校和圣保罗男校,位于马里兰州巴尔的摩郊区,是该地区办学水平最高的私立高中之一。自2010年与杭州外国语学校签订姐妹学校合作协议以来,两校间不断进行交流往来,故此笔者有机会去圣保罗学校游学,得窥美国教育之一斑。一、不囿于法,于自然中求规矩美国法律的一个原则是法无禁止则自由。学校是一个小社会,对于学生而言,学校、课堂规则就是法律。在美国课堂上,只要学生不触犯课堂规则,学生就能享有极大的学习自
St. Paul’s School, Maryland, is a sister school to Hangzhou Foreign Languages School, including the Sao Paulo Girls’ School and the Sao Paulo Boys School, one of the highest-profile private high schools in the suburb of Baltimore, Maryland. Since the sister school cooperation agreement was signed with Hangzhou Foreign Languages School in 2010, exchanges between the two universities have continued. Therefore, the author has the opportunity to study in the school in Sao Paulo.
