CVD103-HgR是一种由经典稻叶型O1群霍乱弧菌减毒后制备的口服单价菌苗,在美国志愿者研究中表明,其预防经典型霍乱弧菌的有效率为80%~100%,而预防ElTor型的有效率仅为50%~60%。若在CVD103-HgR菌苗中加入ElTor小川型菌苗,则可预防所有的O1群霍乱弧菌株感染。为此作者选用弱毒株ElTor小川型N16117株,通过去除ctx、zot、cep和ace基因,并重新导入ctxB基因构建成CVD111菌苗,并在美国和秘鲁成人中对单价CVD111菌苗及与CVD103-HgR结合的两价菌苗进行评价。
CVD103-HgR is an oral monovalent bacterin prepared after classical attenuated Vibrio cholerae O1 group Vibrio cholerae. In the American volunteer study, it showed that the effective rate of preventing Vibrio cholerae was 80% -100% , While the efficiency of preventing ElTor type is only 50% to 60%. If ElTor Ogawa-type bacterin is added to the CVD103-HgR vaccine, all O1 group V. cholerae strains can be prevented from being infected. For this reason, we selected attenuated strain ElTor Ogawa N16117 to construct CVD111 vaccine by removing ctx, zot, cep and ace genes and reintroducing ctxB gene. The monovalent CVD111 vaccine and CVD103- HgR-conjugated bivalent vaccine was evaluated.
