词汇是英语学习的基础,只有掌握了丰富的词汇量才能保证英语学习的顺利进行,因此,词汇教学是中学英语教学的核心内容。英语词汇通常不是独立存在的,而是与语境相互依存,同一词汇在不同语境中的含义往往不同,因此,词汇教学要与语境相结合,只有通过语境进行词汇教学才能使学生更好的理解和记忆。当前中学英语词汇教学中还存在一些问题,导致学生在学习词汇时效率不高,因此,研究词汇教学中语境理论的应用对词汇教学有重要作用。
Vocabulary is the foundation of English learning. Only when you master abundant vocabulary can we ensure the smooth progress of English learning. Therefore, vocabulary teaching is the core content of English teaching in middle school. English vocabulary usually does not exist independently, but interdependencies with the context, the same vocabulary in different contexts often have different meanings, therefore, vocabulary teaching should be combined with the context, only the context of vocabulary teaching can make students more Good understanding and memory. At present, there are still some problems in the teaching of English vocabulary in middle schools, which leads to students’ inefficiency in learning vocabulary. Therefore, the application of context theory in vocabulary teaching plays an important role in vocabulary teaching.
