阅读能力是英语学习者必须掌握的重要技能之一以及英语教学的重点之一。阅读的本质与特性决定了它更多需要读者的独立性,这种独立性对读者所提出的要求就是:1)要具备关于阅读策略的相关知识;2)知道何时,何地正确使用何种策略;3)各种阅读策略的使用是一种自觉,自主状态。将元意识策略培训纳入英语阅读教学以教会学生如何学习和解决实际问题,最终成为自己学习的主人。本文以自我监测式提问为切入点来探讨如何加强学生的阅读策略元意识,提高学生的阅读理解能力。
Reading ability is one of the important skills that English learners must master and one of the focuses of English teaching. The essence and characteristics of reading determine that it more needs the independence of readers. The requirements of readers for this independence are: 1) to have relevant knowledge about reading strategies; 2) to know when and where to use correctly Kinds of strategies; 3) the use of various reading strategies is a conscious, autonomous state. The metacognitive strategy training into English reading teaching to teach students how to learn and solve practical problems, and ultimately become their master of learning. In this paper, self-monitoring questions as the starting point to explore how to enhance students ’reading strategy meta-awareness and improve students’ reading comprehension.
