川中丘陵区水土流失总面积为7.71万km~2,其中极强度流失面积占流失总面积的32.4%.以具有典型代表性的遂宁市市中区为基点,分别研究了荒山极强度侵蚀区和陡坡耕地极强度侵蚀区的综合防治技术,分析了极强度侵蚀区实施综合治理措施后的水保作用及生态经济效益.结果表明,极强度侵蚀区经综合治理后,年泥沙流失总量由10664.6t/km~2减少到647.3t/km~2,与未治理对照区相比,年径流量减少862%,土壤肥力平均提高61.4%.
