工程设计的内涵较广,随着我国大规模经济建设的开展,针对工程设计的图形设计系统应运而生,系统地总结工程设计的特点,有针对性地组建可扩充的、柔性图形设计系统,是本文最重要的出发点。本文借助于计算机辅助设计技术和图形学的研究,讨论了计算机辅助建筑设计和建筑绘图的方法和设计思想,以建筑钢结构设计为例综合分析了钢结构CAD系统及节设计的框架结构,该分析对其它工程设计问题有很好的参考价值。
