王筠(1784-1854),字贯山,一字伯坚,号菉友,山东安丘人。道光元年举人,曾任国史馆誊录、山西乡宁县知县等职,咸丰四年十二月卒于乡宁县署。王筠毕生致力于《说文》研究,与段玉裁、桂馥、朱骏声并称为清代“《说文》四大家”。他生前的藏书,历经一百多年的兵灾战乱及政治运动,至今仍有一部分较完好地保存在其七世孙王琳先生手中。2004年11月,王琳先生将家藏的近百种古籍约2000卷捐献给潍坊学院图书馆,成为我校图书馆的珍藏。这批古籍
