The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) recently announced that users of high-speed Internet services worldwide increased by 72% to 63 million in 2002, reflecting the dramatic increase in broadband Internet access. Among them, South Korea is the most populated country for broadband access. 21 out of every 100 citizens are broadband users.
