随着体育教学改革的深入和发展,体育教学在许多方面都取得了重大突破,但是体育教学关注的重点仍然是体质训练和健康教学等几个方面,对于人文体育教学和人文精神的渗透都存在疏漏。目前,体育教育依然是以应试教育为主的体育健身和技能训练,对学生的主体地位虽有所认识,但是还不全面,而且对于人文精神视阈下的体育教学研究成果还不多。在这种背景下,赵翼虎著作的《人文体育教学概论》一书适时出现。该书将应试教育下优质人才与人文教育相结合,在人文精神的指引下完善体育教学,为体育事业的发展和人才储备贡献力量。
