英国新研制出一种非接触式旋转轴用密封圈。它与一般接触式密封圈相比,节省功率高达90%,而且提高了使用寿命。它适用于直径为Φ25~2500mm的轴径。新型密封圈(见附图)包括一个与轴间隙配合的聚四氟乙烯套环和一个围绕在套环外部的柔性橡胶圈,从而形成一个固定式密封圈。当轴静止时,油流经间隙,建立润滑膜;当轴旋转时,在密封圈内外产生了压力差,同时橡胶圈侧壁上的专设缺口
Britain developed a new non-contact rotary shaft seals. Compared with the general contact ring, it saves power up to 90%, and increased service life. It applies to the shaft diameter Φ25 ~ 2500mm. The new seal ring (see attached drawing) consists of a Teflon ferrule mating with the shaft clearance and a flexible rubber ring surrounding the ferrule to form a stationary seal. When the shaft is at a standstill, the oil flows through the gap to establish a lubricating film. When the shaft rotates, a pressure difference is generated inside and outside the sealing ring, and a special notch on the side wall of the rubber ring
