On September 14, 1991, the International Committee of Numismatics convened a general meeting of members in the Chamber of Basic Sciences in Belgium. Dai Zhiqiang, head of the Chinese monetary delegation and secretary general of the Chinese Numismatic Institute, was appointed by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Children’s Gifts, representing the China Numismatics Society at the General Assembly. The chairman of the International Numismatic Commission made a report on the work of the council from 1986 to 1991 at the meeting.
