在中国长达几千年的历史传统建造体系中,木结构是主导体系。木材作为一种可再生资源,有很多天然的优势,源于自然、亲近自然的特性使得木材在建筑中有很大的应用价值。中国的榫卯木结构技术本已是一套高度成熟且智慧的建造系统,它的易于建造、良好的抗震性能,可拆装以适应迁建的特点等都是其极大的优点。随着新技术和新材料的出现,木结构被应用到大跨度的体育建筑中。
