Inteational human rights instruments,including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR),the Inteational Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR),the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and the American Convention on Human Rights (ACHR),provide the right to life,covering the substantive contents and procedural contents.From the perspective of inteational human rights law,the State has both negative and positive obligations to protect the right to life.
