油气在中国的能源发展过程中仍然需要保持很高的比例,一百年来,石油地质的发展经历了三个重要的阶段,并且取得了很大的进步,对于油气的需要不断增加,石油地质学也在面临着严峻的理论挑战,根据世界石油的地质以及勘探的发展,并进一步的结合我国的地质以及油气的发展,提出了关于石油地质理论方面的九个问题,比如跨若干个重大的构造期油气藏的形成、大型的油气田形成条件的配置、天然起区的形成等等方面,对于石油地质理论的发展和应用也进行了阐述。
