This paper analyzes the necessity of using optical systems in small-caliber gun fire laser simulators. Some ideas are put forward on how to use the optical system to improve the performance of the system. The principle and method of laser optical system design are also introduced. The whole process of optical system design is deduced and calculated in detail. And a preliminary discussion on the technical issues.
