一九八○年十二月二十日,国家建委和冶金部在辽宁省抚顺市联合召开了WD-1200型挖掘机技术鉴定会。来自全国六十三个单位的工程、建筑机械方面的专家、工程技术人员和领导干部对抚顺挖掘机制造厂、鞍山冶金矿山公司矿山研究所、鞍山大孤山铁矿联合研制的这台挖掘机的结构,机械性能和工业性试验情况进行了详细地考核,对各项技术文件进行了认真地审查,并且观看了这台挖掘机的现场实际操作,一致认为,WD-1200型挖掘机设计合理,各部性能良好,各种技术资料完整,试制是成功的,同意定型并转入小批生产。这台挖掘机的研制成功,添补了我国矿山大型采掘设备的一项空白,对提高我国大型矿山的装备
On December 20, 1980, the State Construction Commission and the Ministry of Metallurgy jointly held the WD-1200 excavator technology appraisal meeting in Fushun City, Liaoning Province. This excavator was jointly developed by experts from the sixty-three units of national engineering, construction machinery, engineering technicians, and leading cadres on the Fushun Excavator Manufacturing Plant, the Mine Research Institute of Anshan Metallurgical Mine Company, and the Angusshan Dagushan Iron Mine. The structure, mechanical properties, and industrial test conditions were carefully evaluated, various technical documents were carefully reviewed, and the actual operation of the excavator was observed. It was agreed that the design of the WD-1200 excavator was reasonable. The performance of each department is good, all kinds of technical data are complete, and the trial production is successful. They agree to stereotype and transfer to small batch production. The successful development of this excavator has made up for a gap in the large-scale mining equipment in China’s mines and improved the equipment of large mines in China.
