神经母细胞瘤,除了已知的年龄及肿瘤分期等预后因素外,作者认为肿瘤染色体组型对判断该肿瘤的预后可能是重要的。为此,作者在获得14例儿童神经母细胞瘤细胞学基因资料的基础上,应用直接染色体制备或短期细胞培养方法,对28例不同分期的神经母细胞瘤患儿肿瘤染色体组型进行分析,同时对其中的10个病例进行原始肿瘤基因N-myc DNA分析。结果表明,18例Ⅳ期神经母细胞瘤病人有15例,3例Ⅲ期病人有2例肿瘤染色体组型出现1号染色体短臂异常,最常见断裂点
