中国地质学会是我国老一辈地质学家创立的历史悠久的学会之一,在国际、国内学术界都享有声誉。建国三十三年来,在中国共产党英明领导下,为推动我国地质工作的大发展、开发矿业、繁荣地质科学事业,作出了重要贡献。值此中国地质学会成立六十周年大庆之际,省地质学会第三届理事会第三次(扩大)会议决定隆重庆祝,主要项目有:(1)举行庆祝会,时间定在九月份,规模暂定二百人左右,会上将介绍云南地质工作的回顾与展望,作学术报
The Geological Society of China is one of the oldest learned societies established by geologists of the older generation in China and enjoys a reputation both in the international and domestic academic circles. In the 33 years since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, under the wise leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, it has made an important contribution to promoting the great development of the geological work in our country, developing the mining industry and prospering the geosciences. On the occasion of the dawn of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Geological Society of China, the third (enlarged) meeting of the Third Provincial Board of Geological Society decided to solemnly celebrate.
